2、dSCincludingonebuyerandonesupplierisinvestigated.Thebuyerfacesdemanduncertaintyandusesacontinuous(s,Q)inventorymodel.ItisshownthatjointdecisionmakingforbothsandQisprofitableforthewholeSC.However,incentralizeddecisionmakingthebuyeralwaysloses,whereasthesuppliergreatlyprofits.Acre
3、ditoptionisproposedasacoordinationschemetoencouragethebuyertoacceptthecoordinateddecisions.Intheproposedmodel,thebuyercanbenefitfromlatepaymentsthataresubjecttocommitmenttothejointlyagreedsandQ.Thelowerandupperboundsforthecreditperiodarecalculated.Theproposedschemesharesthebene
