2、blishmentof•TheOsloAccordshaveprovidedIsraelwithaJewishnationalhomeinPalestine.Itis70yearssinceeffectivepoliticalcovertomaintainaprolongedtheinternationalcommunityendorsedtheUnitedNationsoccupationandundermineprospectsforPartitionPlan,thefirstinaseriesofinternationaleff

3、ortsPalestinianself-determinationthroughatwo-toachieveatwo-statesolution.Itis50yearssinceIsraelstatesolution.TheyhavealsoenabledIsraeltoconqueredandbeganitsoccupationoftheWestBankexternalisethepoliticalandfinancialcostsof(includingEastJerusalem)andtheGazaStripduringthei

4、tsunlawfulpractices.UnlessstructuralflawsSixDayWar.Anditis30yearssincethefirstPalestinianintheOsloprocessarecorrected,anynewintifadaerupted,shatteringtheillusionthatIsraelcouldtalksbrokeredbytheUSseemsuretoendinmaintainitsmilitaryoccupationwithoutfacingresistance.failur

6、lityremainsthegoal,butconfidencehaswanedinthecapacityinwhichIsraelsystematicallydiscriminatesoftheMiddleEastPeaceProcess,asconfiguredbytheOsloagainstPalestiniansandinfavourofitssettlersAccords,todeliverapeaceagreementandendtheconflict.OngoingdiplomaticeffortsbytheUnited

7、Statesmayyet•EuropeanstateshavethepowertoinfluencebecapableofrelaunchingnegotiationsbetweenIsraelisnegativedynamicsontheground,andintheandPalestinians.Butintheabsenceofanyefforttocorrectnegotiatingroom.IfEuropetrulybelievesstructuralflawsintheOsloprocess,theyseemsuretoe
