2、inFebruary2002andwasheadedbyJiqiangZhang.OnFebruary15th2002,ateamofthreeexpertsfromvariousChineseresearchinstituteswasorganized.Dr.JiqiangZhangservedastheteamleaderandwasresponsiblefortheorganizationofthestudy.Hewasalsoresponsibleforwritingtheoutlineandthefinalsummaryofthest
3、udy.Dr.ZhongyangLuo,aProfessoratZhejiangUniversity,wasresponsibleforthereportonindustrialusesofbiomassresources,focusingongasificationandpowergeneration.Ms.XiangjunYao,DirectoroftheInstituteofEnergyandEnvironment,MinistryofAgriculture,wasresponsibleforthesurveyonbiomassresou
4、rces.Duringthecourseofthestudy,threemeetingswereheldinBeijing:1)Feb.15,2002.Todefinetheprojectoutlineanddividetasks;2)March15,2002.Reviewofavailableinformationandtoapprovethetableofcontentsandworkingschedule;3)July31.Approvalofthefinaldraft.Duetolimitedresources,thestudywasc
5、onductedbasedonliteraturereviewandsummary,nofieldstudyorlaboratorytestingwasconducted.Itwasfoundthattheinformationavailableonthesubjectwasbroad,butlessquantitativethantheteamwouldhavepreferred.ThisisoftenthecasewithChineseliterature,however,theinformationgatheredwassufficien
6、ttodrawanumberofimportantconclusionshenceservingthepurposeofthisstudy:toinformWWF’srenewableenergyprogramaboutthedevelopmentofbiomassenergytechnologies,theweaknessesofsuchtechnologiesandthepotentialoffurtherdevelopment.Thestudyalsohighlightedthatinternationalcollaborationreg
7、ardingthedevelopmentandcommercializationofbiomassenergyisneeded.ThemainbodyofthereportwasinChineseandcontained8chapters.Inaddition,areportbyJingjingLietal.andaPPTpresentationfromGuangdongEnergyResearchInstitutewereattached.Li’sreportcomprehensivelycoveredthemacropictureofbio
