1、greatpoet---LiBaiLiBai(Chinese:李白,LǐBáiorLǐBó;lived701–762),alsoknownintheWestbyvariousothertransliterations,especiallyLiPo,wasamajorChinesepoetoftheTangdynastypoetryperiod.LiBaiHehasbeenregardedasoneofthegreatestpoetsinChina'sTangperiod,whichisoftencalledChina
2、's"goldenage"ofpoetry.Aroundathousandexistingpoemsareattributedtohim.[1]Thirty-fourofhispoemsareincludedinthepopularanthologyThreeHundredTangPoems.IntheareaofChineseculturalinfluence,LiBai'spoetryhasbeenmuchesteemedfromhislifetimethroughthepresentday.Hisinfluen
3、cealsoextendstotheWestthroughmanytranslations,adaptations,andmuchinspiration.EarlyyearsTheyoungLiBai,beforetwentyyearsofage,hadfoughtandkilled,apparentlyforreasonsofchivalry,severalmen.In720,hewasinterviewedbyGovernorSuTing,whoconsideredhimagenius.Thoughheexpre
4、ssedthewishtobecomeanofficial,henevertookthecivilserviceexaminationAtChang'anLiBaiwroteseveralpoemsabouttheEmperor'sbeautifulandbelovedYangGuifei,thefavoriteroyalconsort.AtthepersuasionofYangGuifeiandGaoLishi,MingHuangreluctantly,butpolitely,andwithlargegiftsof
5、goldandsilver,sentLiBaiawayfromtheroyalcourt.FinalyearsanddeathItwasreported,fromuncertainsources,thatLiBaidrownedafterfallingfromhisboatwhenhetriedtoembracethereflectionofthemoonintheYangtzeRiver,somethinglaterbelievedbyHerbertGiles.WorksCriticismofLiBai'swork
6、shasfocusedonhisstrongsenseofthecontinuityofpoetictradition,hisglorificationofalcoholicbeverages(and,indeed,frankcelebrationofdrunkenness),hisuseofpersona,thefantasticextremesofsomeofhisimagery,hisviolationsofformalpoeticrules–andhisabilitytocombineallofthesewi
