1、Unit4InventionsGrammar【知识要点】一、形容词比较级和最高级不规则变化形式：原级比较级最高级good/wellbetterthebestbad/illworsetheworstfarfarther/furtherthefarthest/thefurthestmany/muchmorethemostlittlelesstheleastoldolder/eldertheoldest/theeldest二、(not)as...as的用法as……as意为“和……一样”，notas……as意为“不及……”，表示同级的比较。1.基本结构：as+ad

2、j.+as，否定形式为：notas/so+adj.+as，中间用形容词的原级。eg:Thebookisasinterestingasthatone.（注意：第一个as不能用so替换）2.当as...as中间加名词时，结构为：as+many/much+n.+as，否定形式为：notas+many/much+n.+as。需要注意的是：当名词为可数名词时，中间为“many+可数名词复数”，当名词为不可数名词时，中间为“much+不可数名词”。eg:TomhasasmanypicturesasJohn.3.as...as前面常常用almost，quite，near

3、ly，exactly等程度副词表示比较的程度。：eg:Thiscupisnearlyasbigasthatone.难点：在同一范围内比较时，必须把主语排除在被比较的范围之外。eg1：ChinaislargerthananyothercountryinAsia.（解析：中国是属于亚洲的，所以是在同一范围内，只能和其它对象进行比较）eg2：ChinaislargerthananycountryinAfrica.（解析：中国不属于非洲，所以是不同范围，可以和其中任意一个对象进行比较）【举一反三】eg:Shanghaiisbiggerthananyothercit
