3、nthegreenwedgeanditsimpactonhighwaysafety.Theapplicanthaslodgedanappealagainstthisdecision,whichisduetobeheardataPublicInquiry,openingonthe23rdJuly2013.Outlineplanningconsentisagainsoughtforaretirementvillagethatwouldconsistof350retirementdwellingsanda100bedroomcarehome.Theapplicationseekstoes

4、tablishonlytheprincipleofthedevelopmentandthemeansofaccessintothesite,allothermattersarethereforereservedforafuturesubmission.Theproposaldoeshoweverallowforarevisedlayoutwhichincludesincreasedlandscapingprovisionandarevisedtransportassessment,bothofwhichareaimedataddressingthepreviousreasonsfo

5、rrefusal.TheapplicationsiteformspartoftheMountLevenFarmsite,whichencompassesagroupofformerfarmbuildingsandaseriesofagriculturalfields.TheexistinggroupofbuildingssitontheplateauclosetothevalleyedgeandisprobablymostvisiblefromLevenBankRoad.Thesiteitselfisfairlylevelwithonlysmallfluctuationacross
