4、armedforcesoftheState,andstrengtheningthereserveforcesfornationaldefence.Article2Theterm"reserveofficers"asusedinthisLawreferstothereservistswhohavebeenassignedreservepostgradesatorabovethelevelofplatoonleader,orspecializedtechnicalpostgradesatorabovethejuniorlevel,o
5、fthePeople'sLiberationArmy,grantedcorrespondingmilitaryranksforreserveofficers,andregisteredwithmilitaryserviceorgans.Article3Reserveofficers,bythenatureofthepoststheyhold,shallbeclassifiedasoperationalofficers,politicalofficers,logisticsofficersandspecializedtechnic
6、alofficers.Thereserveofofficers,accordingtotheneedsofadministrationinpeacetimeandmobilizationinwartime,comprisestwoclasses:ClassOneconsistsofreserveofficerswhoholdpostsinreservecomponentsorarepre-listedasofficersforactivecomponents,andClassTwoiscomposedofallotherrese
7、rveofficers.Article4UndertheleadershipoftheStateCouncilandtheCentralMilitaryCommission,theGeneralPoliticalDepartmentofthePeople'sLiberationArmyshallbethecompetentauthorityfortheadministrationofreserveofficersthroughoutthecountry.Thepoliticaldepartmentsofthemajormilit
