5、lReforminOccupationalHealthandSafety(IGA).TheIGAcommitsalljurisdictionstoadoptmodelworkhealthandsafety(WHS)laws,consistingofamodelWHSAct,supportedbymodelRegulations,modelCodesofPracticeandaNationalComplianceandEnforcementPolicy.ThemodelWHSActwasendorsedbytheWorkplaceRelati

6、onsMinisters’Council(theMinisterialCouncil)inDecember2009.ThemodelWHSRegulations,11modelCodesofPracticeandaNationalComplianceandEnforcementPolicywereendorsedbytheMinisterialCouncilinSeptember2011.Since1January2012,sixjurisdictionshaveimplementednewWHSlawsbasedonthemodelWHS

7、laws:Queensland,NewSouthWales,Tasmania(withacommencementdateof1January2013),theNorthernTerritory,theAustralianCapitalTerritoryandtheCommonwealth.SafeWorkAustraliaisresponsiblefordevelopingthemodelWHSlaws.SafeWorkAustraliahastripartiterepresentation,comprisinganindependentC
