5、oplanaresponsetoapollutionincidentisinPPG21(Reference4).b)Thisdocumentdealswithusinga‘controlledburn’topreventorreducewaterandairpollutionfromfirefightingactivitiesatindustrialandcommercialsites.Itprovidesguidanceon:i)identifyingsiteswherethereisariskofpollutionfollowingafireii)circum

6、stanceswhereacontrolledburncouldbeusedaspartofanon-siteplanfordealingwithpollutionincidentsorduringanactualincidenttominimiseimpactonpublichealthandtheenvironmentiii)pointstoconsiderwhendecidingwhethersuchastrategyisappropriatec)Inthisguidance,acontrolledburnisanoperationalstrategywhe
