3、before.Distributedmultime-thatmustbemanaged[8,10,12].diaapplicationsare,however,verydifficulttodevelopandTomakeiteasiertodevelop,operateandmanagemulti-manage.Thisismainlyduetothelackofappropriatesup-mediaapplications,wehavedevelopedadistributedmulti-portinconventionaloperatingsystems.Inordertosolve
4、mediasystemcalledMAESTRO.Anumberofmultimediathisproblem,wehavedevelopedanobject-orienteddis-systemshavebeendevelopeduptodate,butmostofthesetributedmultimediasystemcalledMAESTRO.MAESTROsystemshavebeendevelopedforspecificmultimediaappli-providesdistributedmultimediaserviceswhichcansup-cationsoronspec
5、ificenvironments[1,2,5,6,7,15].MAE-portawidevarietyofmultimediaapplications.Thispa-STROhasbeendesignedtosupportawidevarietyofmulti-perpresentsthedesignarchitectureofMAESTRO,partic-mediaapplications(suchasvideoconferencing,video-on-ularlyfocusingonitsmultimediacommunicationandses-demand,whiteboards,
6、telemedicine,etc.)thatcanoper-sionservices.Wehavedesignedmultimediaservicesus-ateindistributedenvironmentsinmind.MAESTROpro-ingtheobject-orientedapproach.AprototypeMAESTROvidesageneralmultimediaapplicationprogramminginter-distributedmultimediasystemhasbeenimplementedus-face(API)thatcanbeusedfordev
