2、tifierswhichuseddiodesorthyristors．Butitcouldgainhigherpowerfactor,lowerharmonicdistortionofthelinecurrentandbi-directiontransmissionofenergywhenweusePWMrectifier,SOithasabrightfutureintheareaofelectriclocomotive．Theoperationprincipleandworkpatternsoftwolevelrectifierisanalyzedinthispaper．

3、Theequivalentcircuitandmathematicmodelaresetupbydefiningtheidealswitchfunction．Asithasbettercontrolperformanceofthetransientcurrentcontrolstrategyandpredictedcurrentcontrolstrategy,thetwostrategiesisstatedindetailinthispaper．Theduplicaterectifiercanreducetheharmonicdistortionandexpandcapac

4、ity，SOitscontrolstrategyisresearched．Comparedtothetwo·-levelPWMrectifier,three-·levelPWMrectifierCanreducethevoltagestressofthemainswitchesanddecreaseharmonicdistortionofthelinecurrent．Inthispaper,theoperationprincipleanditsequivalentcircuitareillustratedofthesingle—phasePWMrectifierwithdi

5、ode-clampedtopology．Severalnovelrectifiersareintroduced，thenthegeneralmathematicalmodelisbuiltbydefiningeachswitchfunction．TransientcontrolstrategybasedonSPWMandSVPWMarestudied．InordertOsolvetheinheritedproblemofunbalanceforneutral—pointvoltage，anewmethodisproposed．Basedontheanalyseoftheor

6、y,simulationmodelsarebuiltandresultsaregiven．Duetothecloserelationbetweentheresponsecharacteristicsandparametersofsystem，thewayofdevisingsingle—phasevoltageSOUrCePWMrectifier’Smaincircuitparametersandthereferrenceexpressionsofparameters．Thehardwareplatformofrectifierisbuilt，andexperimental
