5、(DHEA)inthefetaladrenalgland,resultingindecreasedproductionofestrogenandattenuatedcholestasis,andcanalsopromotethematurationoffetallungs.Therefore,desamethasoneistheoptimalmedicineforthetreatmentofICP.Desamethasonecancausesideeffect.Animalandclinicalstudiesofglucocorticoid(GG)forthetreat
6、mentoflungmaturationoftheprematureinrecentyearsshowedthatrepeatedprenataladministrationofGGcouldleadtoharmfuleffectssuchasinhibitionoffetalgrowth,postponementofmyelinsheathformation,andneonatalsepticemia.Largertherapeuticdoseofdesamethasonewithlongertreatmentcourseisrequiredforthetreatme
