2、s–wereusedasinformation-richdiscoursetoexploretheportrayalofthedestina-tion’simage.DatawereobtainedthroughafocusedsearchfromLexisNexisAcademic–oneofthelarg-estdatabasesofinternationalnewspapers,andcodedthroughNudistNvivoforaninductiveanalysis.Itwasfoundthataparadoxofim

3、ageshasemergedfromthecontrastingperceptionsofthechangingver-sustheunchangedintherepresentationaldynamics.Thefindingofparadoxicalimagesprovidesanal-ternativetotheinterpretationofrepresentationalframesorpatternsprevalentintheacademicdiscoursewithregardtotheportrayalofcul
