3、theprocessbothdryandwetberriesgofromreceivingtoshipping.Afewassumptionsweretobemadebeforebeginningtosolvetheproblem.Theassumptionsthatweremadeforthisproblemare:1.Anaverageof18,000bblsofberriesreceivedonthepeakday.2.Onthepeakday,workinghourswerecappedat12hours.3.58%oftheberriesreceivedonthepeakday

4、werewetberries.4.Aconstantrateof200bbls/hourforeachmachineinthedryingprocess.5.Aconstantrateof400bbls/hourforeachmachineintheseparationprocess.Usingtheseassumptions,calculationsweremadeforthecapacityofthebinsandeachprocess.Thesevalueswereusedtodeterminethebottleneckoftheprocess,sincethebottleneck
