6、umericalflowsimulationhasbeenperformedandtheresultscomparedtoexperimentallyobtaineddata.Thefullmachineincludingspiralcasing,stayvanes,guidevanes,runneranddrafttubewassimulatedtransientforthreeoperatingpointsdefinedbytheFrancis-99organisers.Twosetsofresultsw

7、erecreatedwithdifferingtimesteps.Additionally,areduceddomainwassimulatedinastationarymannertocreateacompletecutalongconstantprototypeheadandconstantprototypedischarge.Theefficiencyvaluesandshapeofthecurveshavebeeninvestigatedandcomparedtotheexperimentaldata
