4、FOREXAMINATIONProvideabriefdescriptionoftheindicationforexamination.Thismaybescreeningforanasymptomaticwoman,recallofascreening-detectedfinding,evaluationofaclinicalfinding(specifythefindinganditslocation),orfollow-upofeitheraprobablybenignlesionorcancertreatedwithbr

5、eastconservation.Ifanimplantispresent,bothstandardandimplant-displacedviewsshouldbeperformed,andthisshouldbestatedinthemammographyreport.2.SUCCINCTDESCRIPTIONOFTHEOVERALLBREASTCOMPOSITIONThisisanoverallassessmentofthevolumeofattenuatingtissuesinthebreast,tohelpin-dic

6、atetherelativepossibilitythatalesioncouldbeobscuredbynormaltissueandthatthesensitivityofexaminationtherebymaybecompromisedbydensebreasttissue.Afewco-alescentareasofdensetissuemaybepresentinbreastswithaslittleas10%densetissue,whereasprimarilyfattyareasmaybepresentinbr

7、eastswithasmuchas90%densetissue.Sincemammographydoesnotdepictallbreastcancers,clinicalbreastexaminationisacomplementaryelementofscreening.Findingsatclinicalbreastexaminationshouldnotbeignoredandmayhaveincreasedimportanceinthedensebreast.Theavailabledatadonotsupportth
