3、fastestpacesince1999.Ourunemploymentrateisnowlowerthanitwasbeforethefinancialcrisis.Moreofourkidsaregraduatingthaneverbefore;moreofourpeopleareinsuredthaneverbefore;weareasfreefromthegripofforeignoilaswe'vebeeninalmost30years.Tonight,forthefirsttimesinc
4、e9/11,ourcombatmissioninAfghanistanisover.Sixyearsago,nearly180,000AmericantroopsservedinIraqandAfghanistan.Today,fewerthan15,000remain.Andwesalutethecourageandsacrificeofeverymanandwomaninthis9/11Generationwhohasservedtokeepussafe.Wearehumbledandgratef
5、ulforyourservice.America,forallthatwe'veendured;forallthegritandhardworkrequiredtocomeback;forallthetasksthatlieahead,knowthis:Theshadowofcrisishaspassed,andtheStateoftheUnionisstrong.Atthismoment–withagrowingeconomy,shrinkingdeficits,bustlingindustry,a
6、ndboomingenergyproduction–wehaverisenfromrecessionfreertowriteourownfuturethananyothernationonEarth.It'snowuptoustochoosewhowewanttobeoverthenextfifteenyears,andfordecadestocome.Willweacceptaneconomywhereonlyafewofusdospectacularlywell?Orwillwecommitour
7、selvestoaneconomythatgeneratesrisingincomesandchancesforeveryonewhomakestheeffort?Willweapproachtheworldfearfulandreactive,draggedintocostlyconflictsthatstrainourmilitaryandsetbackourstanding?Orwillweleadwisely,usingallelementsofourpowertodefeatnewthrea
