7、ndcontemplation. 雪窦重显(980~1052),遂宁府(今四川遂宁一带)人,俗姓李,云门宗第四世禅师①。住持明州(今浙江宁波一带)雪窦资圣寺三十一年,大振云门宗风,此间云门宗居禅门诸宗之首,雪窦重显(以下简称“重显”)被誉为“云门中兴之祖”。重显善诗文,著《颂古百则》,发挥前辈祖师禅机,颇有影响。于宋仁宗皇佑四年(1052)自在辞世,春秋七十三,朝廷赠号“明觉大师”。 关于重显,日本知名学者忽滑谷快天《中国禅学思想史》关注较多,对重显的生平、悟缘、语要进行了介绍,并引述心闻昙贲之语对重显的《颂古百则》进行否定性评价。近十余年,大陆
8、学者对重显有若干研究,重点是对重显“颂古”的研究,并结合北宋文人涌入禅门的文化实际,较正面地肯定了《颂古百则
