5、zhou,NanjingandDalian,wheremostofthespecialeconomiczones,lowproductioncost,andinvestmentpreferentialpolicies.SouthernChinahasbecomeChina'slargestLCDmanufacturingbase,itislearntthatabout70%ofthedisplaymoduleenterprisesareconcentratedhere,onlyoneplaceinGuangdon
6、ggatheredmainlandhalfofthedisplaymoduleenterprises.AndEastChinaisanotheremergingLCDmanufacturingcenter.TheregionismainlyengagedintheproductionofSTN,CSTNandTFTandthefivegenerationTFTLCDmodule.WiththecontinuousinflowofoverseascapitalfromJapan,SouthKoreaandTaiwa
7、n,itisexpectedthatEastChinawillbecomeoneofthemajorproductioncentersinmainlandChina.In2005,themainland'sdisplaymodulemanufacturingenterpriseswillincreasetoaround120LCD.Lastyear,mainlandmanufacturerscompletedamajorupgradeandtransformation,withatotalinvestmentof
