2、technologiescreatedanewfieldofopportunitiesforeducationalorganizationstoreachtheirgoals.Crowdsourcing,asdefinedbyJeffHowe(2006),istheactoftakingajobtraditionallyperformedbyadesignatedemployeeandoutsourcingittoanundefined,gene-rallylargegroupofpeopleintheformofanopencall.Thenewnessofthetermindica

3、testhatthereisnotsignificantliteratureonthesubjectofhowthisoperatingmethodisutilizedineducationalactivities.Theobjectiveofthispaperthereforeistotakeanexploratorylookathoweducationalorganizationsareusingcrowdsourcingaspartoftheiractivitiesatthepre-senttime,andtosuggesthowthepracticeofcrowdsourcin

4、gmayspreadtoothereducationalactivitiesastimegoeson.Design/methodology/approach—Thepaperpresentsaconceptualmodelofcrowdsour-cingapplicationineducationalactivities.Themodelissupportedbyanalysisandsynthesisofscientificliteratureandcasestudies.Findings—Analysisofliteratureandcasestudiesallowedthecre
