4、nalideas,andtoco-createvaluewithpartnersandusers.Internet-basedcrowdsourcingandco-creationplatformshavechangedthewayhowfirmsimplementopeninnovation.Theyallownewparticipatoryproblemsolvingandvalue-creationprocesses.However,thecurrentdiscussiononopeninnovat
5、ionhashardlytoucheduponthepublicsector.Thispaperinvestigatesifcrowdsourcingplatformscanbeappliedinthegovernmentalcontext,andunderwhichconditions.Resultsshowthatcrowdsourcingmaygeneratestronginterestamongcitizensandmayserveassourceofnewhighqualityinput.How
