4、enecessary,theconstantsandtheformatofthemodelshavebeenrevised.Anupdatedmodelispresentedthatdescribesthetakeoffthrusttowithin1%ofthatofthereferenceengines,forflightspeedsuptoMach0.4.Thistakeoffthrustmodelhasbeenadaptedtoaccountfortheimpactofbleedairextractionandaltitudeeffect
5、s.Todescribethemaximumclimbthrust,anewapproachhasbeendevisedinwhichtheclimbpathhasbeendividedintothreesegmentsandanequationdevelopedforeachsegment,basedonareferencethrustat30,000ftandtypicalclimb/speedschedules.Awidelyusedthrustspecificfuelconsumptionpowerlawmodelforcruisehas
