7、之一，也是世界上最早应用铸铁的国家。在科学技术高度发达的今天，铸造仍然是最方便、最经济的金属成形工艺。在我国，铸造业是关系国计民生的重要行业，是汽车、石化、钢铁、电力、造船、纺织、装备制造等支柱产业的基础，是制造业的重要组成部份。在机械装备中，铸件占整机重量的比例很高，内燃机占80％、拖拉机占50％80％、液压件、泵类机械占50％～60％。汽车中的重要部件大多铸造而成；冶金、矿山、电站等重大设备也都要依赖于大型铸锻件。铸造是资源、劳动密集型产业，由于发展中国家在原材料、劳动力成本方面的优势，发达国家铸件生产逐渐向发展中国家转移，这给我国铸造产业

8、带来了发展机遇。改革开放以来，我国经济高速增长，铸件需求也随之增加。特别是2000年以来，中国铸造工业发生了巨大的变化，铸件产量连续7年居世界铸件生产
