1、usingnon-thermalplasmageneratedbyDBDinairatatmosphericandlowerpressure,andthesurfacepropertiesoftheuntreatedandpost-treatedsamplesarecharacterizedbymeansofcontactanglemeasurement,scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),atomicforcemicroscopy(AFM),X-rayphotoelectronspectroscopy(xPs),
2、andX·raydiffraction(XRD).Thefactorsthataffecttheplasmamodificationeffects,suchauspowerdensity,treatmenttime,andpressureintensity,werestudied.Finally,theplasmamodificationeffectsatatmosphericandlowerpressurearecompared,themechanismforDBDsurfacemodificationinairisanalyzed,and
3、reasonableexplanationsbasedonthedifferenceofthedischargemechanismanddischargecharacteristicsofDBDinairatatmosphericandlowerpressureisprovidedforunderstandingtheexperimentalresults.Resultsshowthat,theDBDplasmatreatmentinairatatmosphericandlowerpressurechangesthesurfacemorpho
4、logy,contactangleandsurfaceenergyofpolymerfilms.Andbothofthecontactangleandthesurfaceenergyachievethesaturatedvalueatcertaintreatmenttime.Thepowerdensityshowssignificantinfluenceonthetreatmenteffects.ByincreasingthepowerdensityofDBDtreatment,thelesstreatmenttimeisneededtoob
5、tainthesame仃eatmenteffects.TheAFManalysisshowthattheroughnessincreasesremarkablyafterDBDplasmatreatment.TheXPSanalysisshowthatDBDplasmatreatmentintroducesoxygen-containingandnitrogen—containingpolarfunctionalgroupsonthepolymersurfaces.AndtheXRDanalysisshowthatDBDplasmatreat
6、mentcausesmaterialsurfacepropertiesimprovementwithoutinterferingwiththebulkproperties.AsCanbeseen,underthesamepowerdensity,thelowerpressureDBDCanachievethehighertreatmentefficiencythantheatmosphericpressureDBD.Analysissuggeststhat,theseeffectscouldbeexplainedbythedifference
