3、99isherebycancelled.Schoolmanagementcommitteesorincorporatedmanagementcommitteesofallaidedschoolsshouldensurethattheprocurementsystemoftheirschoolsisproperlyadministeredwithchecksandbalancesinplace.Also,schoolsneedtoadoptasoundcontrolsystem,maintainproperrecord

4、sandconductperiodicinspectionsofallpurchases.WhenusingGovernmentsubventionstopurchasestores,procureservices,andcarryoutminorrepairsaswellaswhenusingtheset-upfundtopurchasestoresinthecaseofnewschools,schoolsshouldfollowtheproceduresandtheguidelinessetoutinthisci

5、rcular.DETAILSFinanciallimitsofpurchasesandtheircorrespondingprocurementarrangementsaresummarisedbelowforeasyreference:FinanciallimitsProcurementarrangementò$5,000orbelowòCompetitivebiddingnotrequiredforpurchasesofanystoresorservicesprovidedthatamemberofschools

6、taffatanappropriatelevelcertifiesthatsuchpurchasesareessentialandtheirpricesarefairandreasonableòAbove$5,000butbelow$30,000òByoralquotations(atleasttwo)òFrom$30,000to$50,000òBywrittenquotations(atleasttwo)òAbove$50,000òBytenders(atleastfive)12.Theschoolmanageme
