1、西南交通大学硕士研究生学位论文第1页摘要城市和乡村的划分，是我国城镇化快速发展阶段的基础性工作。科学的城乡划分标准对于我国城镇化相关研究和政策制定具有重大意义；能够更加准确的反映城市化的发展进程，为合理规划城乡布局提供重要的依据；还对城市人口规模预测、评价城市化水平以及经济社会发展的研究有非常重要的价值。自1955年以来我国的城乡划分标先后准经过了4次调整，在实践中不断改进，城乡空间划分视角日趋合理，但仍存在缺乏定量指标、可操作性仍然不强以及相关专业名称的表述混乱问题。在进一步分析我国城乡划分标

2、准与城镇化统计、城镇化发展间的关系后发现，我国的城乡划分标准还不能真正反映出城镇的内涵，从而不能很好的描述我国城镇化发展的现状和发展趋势。因此，对我国城乡划分标准的优化是十分有必要的。从城乡划分标准的国际经验来看，城乡划分的标准要符合国情，要能从本质上区分城镇和乡村，还要有可比性和稳定性。为此，要对我国城乡划分标准进行优化，就要：使得统计名称与国际接轨、并沿用目前的划分对象、采用定性标准以及尝试多种划分视角结合。关键词：中国；城镇；城乡划分标准AbstractUrban．ruraldividin
