2、ombeenappliedinrailwaybridges.Thereisnorailwaycable—stayedbridgewithspanaslongasHanjiatYangtzeRiverRailwayBridgeathomeandabroad.ThemechanicalbehaviorofthebridgeWasstudiedinthisPaper.MainworkofthisParperisasfollows:1.SpacejfiniteelementmodelofthefullbridgeWasestablishedadoptingSPB(Spac

3、ePlate—Beam)method.Themechanicalcharacteristicsofthebridgeunderdeadload,worst.caseoflivingloadandadditionalforceswerestudied.Theresultsshowthattheworkingconditionofthebridgeisreasonableandthestiffnessandstrengthmeettherequirements.2.Theeffectsofthebreakjointsinconcreteslabwerestudied.

4、Theresultsshowthatthebreakiointsoftheconcreteslababovecrossbeamsatchordjoints,caneffectivelydecreasethepeaktensilestressoftheconcreteslabnearbythebreakioints,buttheyhavenoeffectonthestressoftheconcreteslab0.5mawayfromthebreakjointsandthesteelstructure.3.Thereasonablypouringsequencefor

5、theconcreteslabwasstudied.Theresultsshowthat,thepouringsequenceofconcreteslabmainlyaffectstheself-weightstressoftheconcreteslab.Thetensilestressofthemiddlemidspanareaislargest.Therefore,thereasonablypouringsequenceiStopourtheconcretslabinthisareaat1ast.SOthattheself-weightoftheconcret

6、eslabwouldnotcreattensilestressinthisarea.4.Theeffectsoftheconcreteslabonthebridgestiffnessandmechanicalbehaviorwerestudied.Theresultsshowthat.theconcreteslabcallincreasetheverticalstiffnessandthelateralstiffnessofthebridgeby1.8%and7.5%respectively,effectivelydecreasethestressoftheste

7、eldecks,butlittlechangethestressofthemaintrusses.Withthethicknessandwidthoftheconcreteslabincreased.thelateralstiffnessofthebridgeincreasedandstressofsteeldecksincreased,whileverticalstiffnessandstressofmaintrusseschangedlittle.TheresearchresultsinthispapernotonlyservicedesignofHanjia
