3、PREFACEInofferingthiscollectionofproblemstotheChesscommunity,Ifeelthatafewprefatorywordsarerequiredbywayofexplana-tion.Severalpreviouscomposershavecomebeforethepublicinthesamemanner,amongwhomImayenumerateMr.Kling,Mr.BrownofLeeds,andJ.B.ofBridport.Theirexamplehasgivenmeconfi
4、dence,andIventuretohopethatthepresentcollectionwillbefoundtobearsomefeaturesespeciallydis-tinctiveofEnglishproblems,suchasmayjustifymypublishingitinaseparateform.ItiscertainthatthegreatbodyofChessamateurshaveal-waysfeltanespecialinterestinthecompositionandsolutionofproblems
