2、dthattheWDAIgenesequencesfromtheAmgenomehadaccumulatedfewervariationsandevolvedataslowerratethanthesequencesfromtheAugenome.Althoughsomeaccessionsfromonlyoneortwoareashaduniquemutationsatthesameposition,thediversityofWDAIgenesequencesindiploidwheatshowedliUlerelationshiptotheorigi
3、noftheaccessions.Onehundredandfifty·-ninesequencesencodingdimericCt··amylasesinhibitorswerecharacterizedfromTriticumandAegilops.Thesesequenceshad375nucleotidesinlength,amongwhichtherewere255conservedsites,50singletonvariablesites(thenucleotidepolymorphismonlyobservedinasingleacces
4、sion)and70polymorphicsites(thepolymorphismsfoundintwoormoreaccessions).ThefrequencyofSNPsintheB(a.k.a.S)genomescodinga-amylasesinhibitorgeneswas1.7outof10bases.Atotalof59haplotypesweredefined,amongwhich4mainhaplotypesoccurringinmorethan10genesand36haplotypeswithsinglegenewerefound
5、,indicatingthatthedimerica-amylasesinhibitorsmightderivefromaverylimitednumberofancestralgenes.Thephylogeneticmedian-joiningnetworkofthe59haplotypeswashi曲lystarlikewith5haplotypegroups,andatleast2subclustersemerged.Evolutionarydistancesofthe159geneswerecalculated,andsubjectedtothe
6、constructionofneighbour-joiningtreesthatshowedthattheQ-amylasesinhibitorgenesweredividedinto5groups.andeachgrouphadatleast2subgroups.Theneighbour-joiningtreeofthespeciesindicatedthatthegenesfromcommonwheatandTriticumdicoccoideswerecloselyrelatedtothosefromAegilopsspeltoides,anditw
7、asfurthersupportedbythemedian-joiningnetworksanalysisofthe59haplotypes.TheseresultsrevealedtheimportantinformationongenomeshapingeventSandprocessesoccurringatdimerica-amylasesinhibitorgeneslociandcontributedtoourunderstandingoffunctionalaspectsofthedimerica-amylasesinhibitorgenes,
