2、themicrogridconceptalleviatestheproblemsbroughtaboutbythepowergridexpansion.Asaneffectivecomplementoflargepowergrids,themicrogridplaysanimportantroleinimprovingthereliabilityofpowersupply,implementingtheadvantagesofdistributedgenerationsandpromotingthrperformanceofthegrids,whichhasbecomeoneofth

3、emaindirectionsofthedevelopmentofpowersystem.Andproperconfigurationofmictogeneration’Stype,locationandsizewhichmakesthesystemoperatesafelyandeconomically,iSanimportantproblemthatmustbesolvedwithmicrogrid’Sdeveloping.Consideringthecharacteristicsofmicrogrid,theoptimalsitingandsizingofmicrogenera

4、tions(MG)inamicrogridisstudiedinthispaper.Theoverallsystem’Sreliabilityandeconomyisconsidered.Andstochasticnatureofthemicrogrid,suchastherandomnessnatureofwindandsolarenergy,istakenintoaccountaswell.Themainworkispresentedasfollows:(1)Accordingtothedifferentcharacteristicsunderdifferentoperating

5、modes(stand—alonemodeandgrid—connectedmode)ofmicrogrid,thedifferenceinconfiguretheMGofthetwomodesisdiscussed.Andthesolutionideasofoptimalproblemareanalysed.(2)Themodesofmainmicrogirddevicesarebuilt.ThemethodofprobabilisticpowerflowbasedonMonteCarlosimulationinamicrogridisproposed.(3)Aimingatsta

6、nd—alonemodemicrogrid,amathematicalmodelforoptimalsizingofDGisestablished.Themodeltakesthetypes,sitesandsizesofDGasvariables,minimumoverallcostasobjectivefunctionandreliabilityindexsuchasnodevoltageandlossofenergyprobabilityasmainconstraints.Andthereliabilityindexofagenerationconfigurationschem

7、eiscalculatedbyprobabilisticpowerflow.Theparticleswarnloptimization(eso)algorithmisproposedtosolvetheoptimizationproblem.Finally,a14-nodesystemcasestudyisusedtovertifythecorrectnessandpracticalityofthemethodproposedabove.(4)Amathe
