4、ncialsectortorealeconomyanddevelopedintoarareglobalfinancialcrisiswithverystrongimpactsandveryextensivecoverage.Underitsimpacts,theChineseeconomygotintogreateroperationaldifficultiesandstrongerdownturnpressure.Asoneofthemostseriouslyimpactedindustries,ironandsteelindustryhas
5、goneintodeficitandbeencaughtinacriticalsituationasoflastSeptemberassteelmarketsstartedshrinkingbothhomeandabroad,pricebegandroppingviolently,stocklevelinsteelmillskeptrisingandenterprisesstartedstoppingorcuttingproductiononeafteranother.Asiswellknown,theChineseeconomyhadbeen
6、growingfastandstablyasofearly21stCentury,drivingitssteelsectorgrowingatahighspeed,withthecrudesteeloutputreachinganannualgrowthrateof21.1%.In2008,Chinaachievedacrudesteeloutputof500milliontons,rankingthe1stintheworldsuccessivelyfor13years,asteel(billet)exportof64.3millionton
