3、students'readingabilitynotmeetingtheaboverequirements.Mindmapisaneffectivevisualknowledgerepresentationtool.Itcanactivatepeople'sleftandrightbrainssimultaneously,andimprovepeople'sunderstanding,memoryandcreativethinkingabilitybyusingkeywords,graphicsandcolors.Therefore,mindmapsareused
4、inmanyfieldsabroad,especiallyinthefieldofeducation.However,theapplicationofdomesticmindmapsisstillnotwidespread,anditislessusedinmiddleschoolEnglishsubjectteaching.JuniorhighschoolEnglishreadingteachingplaysanextremelyimportantroleinjuniorhighschoolEnglishteaching.Teachersspendalotoft
5、imeandenergyonreadingteaching,buttheyhavenotachievedsatisfactoryresults.Asanewtypeofteachingmethod,mindmapcaneffectivelyvisualizethethinkingprocessandmeetthelearningcharacteristicsofjuniorhighschoolstudents.Therefore,thisstudytakesthereadingcomprehensionofthefinalexamofFuningDistricti
6、nQinhuangdaoin2016and2017,andattemptstoapplythemindmappingtooltojuniorhighschoolEnglishreadingteaching.TheaimistostudywhetherthehighschoolEnglishreadingteachingmodeassistedbythemindmappingtoolcanstimulatestudents'interestinlearningEnglishreadingandimprovingtheirreadingabilityandlangua
