4、factorforhighoccurrenceofredtide．Inthispaper，maincausesoffrequentHABoccurrencealongChinacoastwasdiscussed．ManyfactorsmightinfluencetheocculTenceofredtide，whichincludedweather，climate，coastalcurrent，tidalcurrent，watertemperature，salinity，hydrodynamican

5、dnutrientconditions。tracemetalsandthevariationofbiologicalenvironment．Numerousevidencesfromallovertheworldrevealedthelinkagebetweentheincreasesinnutrientloadingandtheoccurrencesofhighbiomassbloms．Eutrophicationwasoneoftheimportantcausesthatinvolvedinh

6、ighoccurrenceofHAB．Themainsourcesofnutrientspotentially~imulatingHABsincludedterrestrialrunof，aquaculturesef-poUution，atmosphericdeposition，seaprojectsandotherpollutioneventsintheocean．Studiesshowed廿1attheinputfromlandcontaminationsandtheself-pollutio

7、nofmarineaquacultureacceleratedeutrophicationincoastalwatersandwerealsoimportantimpactfactorsonredtide．ResearchessuggestedthatnutrientcompositioncouldafectthespeciescompositionofphytoplanktonaswellasthedevelopmentofsomenABs．Thechangesinnutrientsupplyr
