2、hspecificstrengthandexceptionalcorrosionresistance.Theuseoftitaniumalloysislimitedforitspoorwearresistanceandlowhardness.Theresearchinthisdissertationistoimprovethesurfacepropertiesoftitaniumalloysbyusingsomesurfacetechniques.Thefabricationdesignandtestso
3、fthecoatingswereimplementedTheConventionalmicronstructuredAl2O3+13wt.%TiO2wascomparedwiththenanostructuredAl2O3+13wt.%TiO2inthecoatingmaterialresearch;andlasercladdingwascomparedwiththeplasmasprayinginthetechnicsresearch.Microstructureandcompositionofthec
4、oatingsampleswereachievedbymeansofX-raydiffraction(XRD),scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM).Microhardness,wearresistanceandbindingpropertieswerealsotestedbythecorrespondingtestfacilities.Theresultsshowthatthepropertiesofthesampleswithceramiccoatingweregreatly
5、improved,andthenanostructuredceramiccoatingwasalsoexhibitedabetterperformancethanthenormalcoating.Inaddition,plasmasprayedcoatingwithlaserremeltingcouldsignificantlyenhancethemechanicalpropertiesbycomparisonwithcoatingwithouttreatment.Keywords:Surfacemodi
