3、ferentregionsofonecountry.Inthemeantime,theinterculturalcommunicationhavethreeforms:interracialcommunication,interethniccommunicationandinterculturalcommunication.Theworldwideinterestininterculturalcommunicationgrowsoutoftremendouschangesintechnology,economy,immigrationpatternand
4、theemergenceofmulticulturalism.Theadvancednewtechnologyandtheincreaseofculturalmigration,alsotheeconomicglobalizationandthegrowthofthewordpopulationarethemainreasonsforincreasinginterculturalcommunication.Withtheglobalizationoftheworldeconomyandwideuseoftheinternetwhichistearingd
5、ownnationalboundaries,interculturalcommunicationhasbecomepartofourdailylife.Asaresult,understandothercultureisindispensibleandneedforinterculturalknowledgeandskillsthatleadtointerculturalcommunicationcompetencebecomeessentialinoursociety.Theimportanceofstudyinginterculturalcommun
6、icationcannotbeoverstated.Firstofall,wecanincreaseourculturalawarenessbystudyinginterculturalcommunication.Becausesuchawarenessisthefirststeptointerculturalcommunicationcompetence.Simply,interculturalawarenesscanbeviewedasacognitiveprocessofunderstandingother’svalues,attitudes,be
