3、ldingandcivilengineeringstructures,toSubcommitteeB/525/2,Structuraluseofconcrete,whichhastheresponsibilityto:—aidenquirerstounderstandthetext;—presenttotheresponsibleinternational/Europeancommitteeanyenquiriesontheinterpretation,orproposalsforchange,andkeepUKinterestsinformed;—monitorre
4、latedinternationalandEuropeandevelopmentsandpromulgatethemintheUK.Alistoforganizationsrepresentedonthissubcommitteecanbeobtainedonrequesttoitssecretary.ThestructuralEurocodesaredividedintopackagesbygroupingEurocodesforeachofthemainmaterials,concrete,steel,compositeconcreteandsteel,timbe
5、r,masonryandaluminium.Thisistoenableacommondateofwithdrawal(DOW)foralltherelevantpartsthatareneededforaparticulardesign.Theconflictingnationalstandardswillbewithdrawnattheendofthecoexistenceperiod,afteralltheENEurocodesofapackageareavailable.FollowingpublicationoftheEN,thereisaperiodof2
6、yearsallowedforthenationalcalibrationperiodduringwhichthenationalannexisissued,followedbya3yearcoexistenceperiod.DuringthecoexistenceperiodMemberStateswillbeencouragedtoadapttheirnationalprovisionstowithdrawconflictingnationalrulesbeforetheendofthecoexistenceperiod.TheCommissioninconsul
