4、ime-definedbytime-gatingthereceivedsignal,scalecurrents(i.e.internalwavebreaking)andthelengthofthegateisusuallymatchedwhicharebeyondthecapabilitiesofavailabletothepulselengthT,givingarangeincoherentADCP's.SeveralstrategieshaveresolutionofT/2.Theradialcomponentofbeenanalyse

5、dandtested.Amongthem,trans-thevelocityofthescatterersinaparticularmissionofcodedacousticpulsescombinedwithbinisrelatedtotheDopplershiftF,by:coherentsignalprocessingtechniqueshasbeengivenspecialattention.ThisapproachmayU=0.5XFD(1)allowthemeasurementofwatermassvelocitieswith
