3、d.Electrodepositioniseffectiveinrecoverheavymetalsfromwastewaterstreams.Itisconsideredasanestablishedtechnologywithpossiblefurtherdevelopmentintheimprovementofspace-timeyield.EChasbeeninuseforwaterproductionorwastewatertreatment.Itisfindingmoreapplicationsusingeitheralumi

4、num,ironorthehybridAl/Feelectrodes.TheseparationoftheflocculatedsludgefromthetreatedwatercanbeaccomplishedbyusingEF.TheEFtechnologyiseffectiveinremovingcolloidalparticles,oil&grease,aswellasorganicpollutants.Itisproventoperformbetterthaneitherdissolvedairflotation,sediment

5、ation,impellerflotation(IF).Thenewlydevelopedstableandactiveelectrodesforoxygenevolutionwoulddefinitelyboosttheadoptionofthistechnology.Electrooxidationisfindingitsapplicationinwastewatertreatmentincombinationwithothertechnologies.Itiseffectiveindegradingtherefractorypollut
