3、conductstheInterconnectionStudies.November1,2005theCAISO,SCE,SDG&E,PG&EmadethecompliancefilingtoestablishtheCentralizedInterconnectionStudyprocess.May24,2006FERClargelyacceptedthestudyprocessindicatingtheRolesandResponsibilitiesstrucktherightbalanceofresponsibility.CaliforniaIndependentSystemOpe

4、ratorCentralizedInterconnectionStudyProcessOverview/StructureFERCorderedtheISOtobethesinglepointofcontactfortheInterconnectionCustomer(IC)FERCorderedtheISOtoprovidedirection,oversightandapprovaloverboththeadministrativeandtechnicalportionsofthestudyprocess.Today,wewillprovideanoverviewoftheproc

5、eduresassociatedwiththenewCentralizedInterconnectionStudyprocess.CaliforniaIndependentSystemOperatorInterconnectionRequest(IR)ISOreceivesInterconnectionRequest(IR)andICdeposits.ISOprovidesacopyoftheIRtothePTO.ISO&PTOreviewtheIR.ISOrespondstotheICwithin6BDtoestablishthequeuedateandqueuepositionfo

6、rtheIC’sproject.Within10BDoftheIRbeingdeemedvalid,ISOschedulestheScopingMeetingtobeheldwithin30-CDofthenotificationofthevalidIR,unlessotherwisemutuallyagreeduponbyallParties.CaliforniaIndependentSystemOperatorScopingMeetingAStandardagendaforallScopingMeetingshasbeenestablishedsothattheISO,PTO,an
