5、gatemotionestimationbyregistra-tionofthesurfaceinformation.Theproposedapproachiscomparedtoamotionfree,anuncompensated,andastate-of-the-artmarker-basedreconstructionusingtheSSIM.Theproposedapproachyieldsmotionestimationaccuracyandimagequalityclosetothecurrentstate-of-the-art,reducingthemo

6、tionartifactsinthereconstructionsremarkably.Usingtheproposedmethod,Structu-ralSimilarityimprovedfrom0.887to0.975comparedtouncorrectedimages.Theresultsarepromisingandencouragefutureworkaimingatfacilitatingitspracticalapplicability.1IntroductionC-armcone-beamCT(CBCT)o ersagreatvarietyofapp
