2、Clause（宾语从句）定义：在主从复合句中，作主句宾语的从句。一引导词：1.HetellsusthathehasbeentoAmericafourtimes.2.Couldyoutellmeif/whetherthere’sagoodplacetoeat?3.TomaskedwhenIbegantolearnEnglish.4.CouldyoutellmewhereIcanexchangemoney?总结：1.如果宾语从句是陈述句，其引导词要用that,that本身无意义，可以省略。2.如果宾语从句由一般疑问句充当时，用连词whether或if引导。意为“是

3、否”。3.如果宾语从句是特殊疑问句，其引导词就用原来的疑问词即可。需要注意的是这些引导词充当从句的一个成分，故不能省略。在下列情形下之用whether不用if1.从句在前，主句在后，只能用whether,不能用if.如：Whetherit’ssunnyornot,we’llhavetogotothecountrytomorrow.2.介词后的宾语从句用whether引导，不用if.IworryaboutwhetherIhurttheboy’sfeeling.3.后面有ornot时，前面用whether,不用if.Idon’tknowwhetherhewillc
