4、eachofthemainmaterials:concrete,steel,compositeconcreteandsteel,timber,masonryandaluminium;thisistoenableacommondateofwithdrawal(DOW)foralltherelevantpartsthatareneededforaparticulardesign.Theconflictingnationalstandardswillbewithdrawnattheendofthecoexistence
5、period,afteralltheENEurocodesofapackageareavailable.FollowingpublicationoftheEN,thereisaperiodallowedfornationalcalibrationduringwhichtheNationalAnnexisissued,followedbyacoexistenceperiodofamaximumthreeyears.DuringthecoexistenceperiodMemberStatesareencouraged
6、toadapttheirnationalprovisions.ConflictingnationalstandardswillbewithdrawnbyMarch2010atthelatest.BSEN1993-1-11willnotsupersedeanycurrentBritishStandards.WhereanormativepartofthisENallowsforachoicetobemadeatnationallevel,therangeandpossiblechoicewillbegivenint
7、henormativetext,andanotewillqualifyitasaNationallyDeterminedParameter(NDP).NDPscanbeaspecificvalueforafactor,aspecificlevelorclass,aparticularmethodoraparticularapplicationruleifseveralareproposedintheEN.ToenableEN1993-1-11tobeusedintheUK,theNDPswillbepublish
