4、specifichemagglutm-atlngactivttyincellculturesupernatants.Apost-embeddinglmmunochemmaltechnique,usmgspecificantiserumdirectedagainsttheoriginalegg-adaptedvirusandcolloidal-gold-labelledpro-teinAastheelectron-densemarker,wasusedfortheidentificationofthevirusandrelatedanti-gensinthe
5、cellsbyelectronmicroscopy.Buddingoftypmalcoronavtrusparticles,throughmtra-cytoplasmicmembranesandaccumulationofcompleteviruswithincytoplasmmvesiclesorthelumenofroughendoplasmlcreticulum,werethemarefeaturesoftheviralmorphogenes~sLatemrefection,numerousprogenyviralparticleswereshown
6、attheoutersurfaceofinfectedcells,butbuddingcouldnotbedemonstratedatthislevel.Twodifferenttypesofsurfaceprojectionswereobservedontheextracellularparticlesofthisaviancoronavlrus.Thesemorphologicalchar-actenstmshavebeenthusfardescribedonlyformammahanhemagglutinatingcoronavirusesINTRO
