2、ymentVisadesignatedas‘E’VisaFrequentlyaskedquestionswithregardtotheaboveissuesandrepliestheretoareoutlinedbelowforinformation,guidanceandcomplianceofallconcerned:-AQ1.WhatisaBusinessVisa?Ans.BusinessVisaisgrantedtoaforeignnationalwhowantstovisitIndiatoestablishanindustrial/

3、businessventureortoexplorepossibilitiestosetupindustrial/businessventure,orwantstopurchase/sellindustrialproductsinIndia.ThisVisaisgrantedsubjecttofollowingconditions:-(i)Theapplicantisapersonofassuredfinancialstandingandexpertiseinthefieldoftheintendedbusiness.(ii)Theappli

4、cantisnotvisitingIndiaforthebusinessofmoneylendingorpettytrading,orforafulltimeemploymentinIndiainvolvingpaymentofsalaryinIndiaetc.(iii)ThefacilityofBusinessVisawillalsobeextendedtoseniorexecutivesoffirms,experts,tourconductorsandtravelagents,etc.,visitingIndiainconnectionw

5、ithworkrelatedtoprojectsofnationalimportance,includingthoseundertakenbypublicsectorundertakings,andconductingbusinesstoursofforeignersorbusinessrelatingtoit,etc.(iv)Aforeignnationalwillhavetocomplywithallotherrequirementslikepaymentoftaxliabilitiesetc.(v)ThegrantofBusinessV

6、isaissubjecttoanyinstructionsissuedbytheGovernmentofIndiaonthebasisofreciprocitywithotherforeigncountriesfromtimetotime.:-2-:(v)TheBusinessVisamustbeissuedfromthecountryoforigin,orfromthecountryofdomicileoftheforeignerprovidedtheperiodofpermanentresidenceofthatapplicantinth
