2、litaryMedicalUniversity,Shanghai200433China)AbstractObjective:Molecularhydrogen,whichreactswiththehydroxylradical,hasbeenconsideredasanovelantioxidantandpossessesprotectioninvariousdiseases.However,theefficacyofhydrogeninpostoperativeperitonealadhesionisun—known.Methods:Intraperit

3、onealadhesionwasinducedinSprague-Dawleyratsbygivingcecalabrasioncombinedwithperi’tonealbuttonandabsolutealcoholovertheabradedcecalserosalsurface,and20ml/kgand30ml/kghydrogen-richsaline(>0.6mmol/L)ornonewasadministered,respectively,v/aintraperitonealinjectiononceadayfor14days.Sever

4、ityofad—hesionpresentedasadhesionscorewasstatisticallyanalyzed.Results:Thehydrogen-richsalinetreatmentgroupshowedsig—nificantlv1essadhesion,whiletherewasnosignificantdifferencebetweenthehydrogenlevelsof20ml/kgand30ml/kgwithinthehydrogen-richsalinetreatedanimals.Conclusion:Hydrogen

5、-richsalinetreatmentsignificantlyattenuatedthese—verityofpostoperativeadhesionformation.Administrationofhydrogen-richsalinehasapotentialuseinclinicasacomple—mentarytherapyforreducingthemorbidityrelatedtopostoperativeadhesions.Keywordshydrogen;postoperativeadhesion;cecalabrasion;ra
