4、orynumberofthesestudieshavebeendoneonvalidationofmetacognitivestrategieswithsecondlanguagelisteningtask，althoughlisteningplaysacriticalroleinsecondlanguagelearning．Onemainexplanationwasthatitwasnotaparticularstrategythatledtoimprovedperformance，butwiththecombinedo
