2、roject.SCOPEThespecificationsshallgovernallworknecessarytofurnish,installandplaceintooperationtheJetAerator’srequiredtocompletethisproject.Thissectionincludeselectricsubmersiblepump(s)tobesuppliedwithmotor,closecoupledvolute,castirondischargeconnection,ejector,guidebarbracke
3、ts,powercableandaccessories.TheJetAerator’sareavailableforwetpit(NP)andportable(NS)installations.QUALITYASSURANCEThepump(s),usedaspartoftheJetAerator’sshallbeheavyduty,electricsubmersible,centrifugalnon-clogunitsdesignedforhandlingraw,unscreenedsewageandwastewaterandshallbef
4、ullyguaranteedforthisuse.Thepumpsprovidedshallbecapableofoperatinginanambientliquidtemperatureof104°F.Sincethehightemperatureof104°FisspecifiedbytheNationalElectricalManufacturersAssociation(NEMA)andFactoryMutual(FM),motorswithamaximumambienttemperatureratingbelow104°Fshalln
5、otbeacceptable.Thepumpandmotorunitshallbesuitableforcontinuousoperationatfullnameplateloadwhilethemotoriscompletelysubmerged,partiallysubmergedortotallynon-submerged.Theuseofshowersystems,secondarypumpsorcoolingfanstocoolthemotorshallnotbeacceptable.Theejector,pump,mechanica
6、lsealsandmotorunitsprovidedunderthisspecificationshallbefromthesamemanufacturerinordertoachievestandardizationofoperation,maintenance,spareparts,manufacturer’sserviceandwarranty.SUBMITTALSSubmittaldatashallbeprovidedtoshowcompliancewiththesespecifications,plansorotherspecifi
7、cationsthatwillinfluencetheproperoperationofthepump(s).Standardsubmittaldataforapprovalmustconsistof:a.JetAeratorOutlineDrawing.b.StationDrawingforAccessories.c.ElectricalMotorData.d.ControlDrawingandData.e.AccessFrameDrawing.f.TypicalInstallationGuides.g.TechnicalManuals.h.
