2、ractWedescribeanAIbehaviorarchitecturethatsupportsresponsivecollaborativeinterruptibleandresumableRelatedWorkbehaviorsusingbehaviorqueues.ThisarchitecturewrapsOtherAIarchitecturesfailtosupportatleastoneofthesetsofbehaviorsintoroles,whichprovideasimpleefficient

3、fivefeatures.Finitestatemachines(FSMs;Houletteandmechanismforencapsulatingbehaviorsintocomponentsthatcanchangedynamically,basedonenvironmentalFu2003),hierarchicalstatemachines(HSMs;Harel1987)criteria.Toillustratetheviabilityofthisarchitectureinaandbehaviorscri

4、ptsarethemostpopulargametechniquescommercialsetting,weimplementedthisarchitectureinfortellinganNPChowtobehave.TwomajordrawbacksBioWareCorp.’sNeverwinterNightsgame.TodemonstrateofFSMsaretheirinabilitytostorestatethatcanbetheusabilityofthisarchitecturebygamedesi
