2、ntionclinicaltrialshaveshownthatreducingtheweightofabout1/3glucosetolerance(IGT)patientswilldevelopinpatientswithtypeIIdiabetesin10years(1,2),butifthechangeoflifestyleandtheuseofdrugs,caneffectivelydelayorpreventthedevelopmentofaspatientswithtypeIIdiabetes・Inclinicalpractice,increase
3、theamountofexercise,dietandreducetheoverweightweightcorrectionmeasures,evenifonlyforashorttime,butalsotoreducetherateofincidenceofdiabetesmellitusplayaIong-termeffect(3,4)・ScreeningfordiabetesriskAsforthekeytypeIIdiabetespreventionprogramsuccessiswhetheryouhaveasimpleandnoninvasiveme
4、thodofscreeninghighriskofdiabetes,andthesemethodsmustberepeatable,canacceptscientificproof.Throughthedevelopmentofthelast30years,themainstreammethodsincludequestionnaires,biochemicaltestsorthecombinationofthetwo.Althoughtheseparameters,dataandpointershavebeenwidelyrecognized,thereare
5、somelimitations・Thequestionnairewasofsomesignificanee,andthemostprominentonewastheFinlanddiabetesriskscore(FINDRISC)(5).Althoughtheadvantagesofthesescoresaremainlythattheycanbeusedbyawiderangeofpeople(6),thequestionnairebasedondiabetessymptomsisnotappropriateforscreeningpeoplewithhig
6、hriskofdiabetes・Inaddition,thereareseveralsimilaritiesbetweenthecalculatedscoresofthemetabolicsyndromeandcardiovascularriskfactors,andsomeriskfactors,suchasoverweight,havecompletelydifferentmeaningsindifferentgeneticbackground:someobesepatientsandnohighriskofmetabolicsyndrome;andsome
