2、so,theimplementationofthehardwareandsoftwareforspeedcontrolandprotectionwiththeresultsobtainedfromtestsoninductionmotorperformanceisprovided.ThePLCcorrelatestheoperationalparameterstothespeedrequestedbytheuserandmonitorsthesystemduringnormaloperationandundertripconditions.Testsofthein
3、ductionmotorsystemdrivenbyinverterandcontrolledbyPLCproveahigheraccuracyinspeedregulationascomparedtoaconventionalcontrolsystem.TheefficiencyofPLCcontrolisincreasedathighspeedsupto95%ofthesynchronousspeed.Thus,PLCprovesthemselvesasaveryversatileandeffectivetoolinindustrialcontrolofele

5、blelogiccontrollers(PLCs)withpowerelectronicsinelectricmachinesapplicationshasbeenintroducedinthemanufacturingautomation[1],[2].Thisuseoffersadvantagessuchaslowervoltagedropwhenturnedonandtheabilitytocontrolmotorsandotherequipmentwithavirtuallyunitypowerfactor[3].ManyfactoriesusePLCsi
6、nautomationprocessestodiminishproductioncostandtoincreasequalityandreliability[4]–[9].Otherapplicationsincludemachinetoolswithimprovedprecisioncomputerizednumericalcontrol(CNC)duetotheuseofPLCs[10].Toobtainaccurateindustrialelectricdrivesystems,itisnecessarytousePLCsinterfacedwithpowe
